I’ve been through a lot in the last half a year. Can’t say it’s behind me, but return to blogging might be part of the recovery. And making the declaration public vastly increases the chances of its actual happening.
So there it is. I’m back blogging.
Thanks goes to everyone who attended! As promised at the meeting, I’ve uploaded the presentation.
The slides by themselves are rather thin, as almost the entire meeting was spent in visual studio. However, I left out various syntax details – so the links in the slides may be of value to whomever is interested.
I hope to find the time and energy to record (at least partial) screencasts of the presentation. You’re very welcome to comment or email me (ofekshilon at gmail) stating which of the presentation subjects you’d like to dig more deeply into.
I’m a mathematician by education, currently software team leader in Simbionix.
I feel my collection of tweaks & tricks have reached that critical mass where it may be of value to others – I’ll post whatever was useful to me and hard/impossible to find around.
Most posts will be around Visual Studio issues, and VC++ in particular. Some would probably diverge to DirectX, Matlab, Mathematica, perhaps DICOM, even plain MS Office – whatever I fiddle with.
